Animal Shelter Tour
Shelter tours are perfect for scout troops, school groups, community organizations or anyone who wants to learn more about the day-to-day operations of animal shelter. A visit to our animal shelter is a powerful experience. Tour spent an hour with one of our volunteers and find about how “people help animals and animals help people” here at PAWS Kuwait facilities. Students enjoy a behind-the-scenes peek at some special areas, as well as a chance to meet and pet some of the animals that live here. Groups will have the opportunity to interact with some of the shelter’s very special residents. Tours cover the history, goals and mission of the PAWS Kuwait shelter and give participants a true perspective on sheltering homeless and abused animals.
Tours last approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the age and size of the tour group.
To help ensure a quality learning environment, we ask that there is 1 adult supervisor per 5 children under the age of 18.. Because we are a non-profit organization, we ask that each tour group provides a donation to the PAWS Kuwait in the amount of 2 KD per person which helps support the animals and provide for further Humane Education and Outreach Programs.
Tours must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance and walk-ins are not accommodated.
